What would you do if you encountered what seems like a movie-set spaceship as you ran errands? That happened last week when I walked through the Flatiron area of Manhattan.
It was a walk-through kaleidoscope. The second picture shows the Flatiron Building in the background. It’s on a corner lot, shaped like an old clothing iron. The colors are astounding at dusk. It was fun to crouch down, look up at the glass panes and see, not myself, but the surrounding buildings and people.
It was tough to eventually walk away but that gave me a different vantage point.
Nova by Softlab is officially an art installation but it was pretty entertaining. Now is always a good time for a surprise.
